Ingredients - Serves 4 to 6
500 gr. MLS Minced beef
1/2 piece Onion
1 tablespoon Mexican spices mix
Chilli flakes up to taste
120 gr. Red beans cooked
400 gr. Tomato pelati
50 gr. Fresh coriander
50 gr. Fresh mint
Olive oil / Salt / Crushed black pepper
Sides
Jalapenos
Lime
Cheddar
Guacamole
Sour cream
Nachos

Method

In a large pot, roast the minced beef till golden brown colour. Add the tomato pelati and all seasoning and cook for 30 minutes.

Add the red beans and cook for 5 minutes more. Reduce the sauce until consistency if necessary. Add the fresh herbs, the mint will give a nice fresh taste.

Serve with Nachos; guacamole, sour cream and cheddar and lime on the side.
